Buda
Just a quick question (or two), Can the Caterham supersport kit be fitted with the engine in-situ?, does it come with full instructuions?, would I be better getting a haynes manual for the rover 1.6K and following that? - how long would it take a monkey (me) to do this conversion? I assume a fairly bog standard socket set, spanners etc along with torque wrench would be all I need (I've got these). If you're reading this fred I promise not to be silly again on techtalkwink.gif. Lastly I'm dying to do this myself as my car was factory built but if anyone advises that its well beyond the basic capabilities of a novice mechanic then I'll have to save up some more. Thanks Buda
Rob Walker
Buda, Yes the kit can be fitted with the engine in the car, its quite straightforward and well described in the Haynes book of lies for the Rover 216/218. I am shure Caterham can also supply you with fitting instructions data sheet FOC. Rob

Buda
Cheers, I do like getting mucky, just don't want to screw something up big style, and I feel I SHOULD do it myself. I'll go and buy Haynes book of lies and read up on it, fred, this means that the ss kits around 2nd hand are probably going to be no good then? KenEvans
ahhhhhh - I'll have to bow to Fred's superior knowledge in that one, not being familiar with the EU3 engine. Ken
