David S
Its not exactly Kent but Gerald Dale Motorsport at Ninfield Nr Battle is very good. He runs racing minis and other "older" cars with carbs. He does corner weights (I don't understand these!) and seemed to know sevens very well. He set up my crossflow DCOEs in May - rolling road etc etc - and they're still fine. I may ask him to rebuild my engine... He has a website and his number is 01424 893903 (PS I'm nothing to o with him) 1957 was a good year...
Area Representative Crudders Posted November 30, 2006 Area Representative Share Posted November 30, 2006 Sanspeed in Bexleyheath are not too far from you here and have a rolling road. Like many places they've had to move with the times and get into chipping, dump valves and all that guff but their roots are very much in tuned crossflows. Worth an enquiry anyway. Just a thought but is your state of tune anything out of the ordinary? If not, there's a mountain of data available and a rolling road setup may not be necessary. NevDyson
Crudders, Nothing particularly special, it is a stage 4 engine, 244 cam etc etc. But the carbs were transferred from my old engine, and i think they could do with new jets and a general overhaul Will give them a call and see what they say.
