Area Representative Steve Wright Posted November 27, 2006 Area Representative Share Posted November 27, 2006 Did Caterham ever manufacture a single pipe non-cat exhaust system for a K-Series car? visit Carrotland.co.uk
Nifty
Don't think so Steve Keep off the straight and narrow 😬
neil.cavanagh
Um, if you mean one that works with the 4-1 carp collector inside the engine bay, with one pipe stickign out of the side then YES! They make them now... straight swap for the standard roadsport cat system. About £150 I think. Many/most of the grads racers use them. If nothing else they are far cheaper to replace when they squash them!
Mark Gregory
To add some more info to Neil's post: They have been engineered for the Super & Mega Graduate race cars by McMillan MotorSport T: 01162 799077, cost (inc VAT) is approx. £200.They are not a Caterham part. There is a small increase in power, hence most of the race cars use them.
Area Representative Steve Wright Posted November 27, 2006 Author Area Representative Share Posted November 27, 2006 Brilliant! - Thanks chaps. Now here comes the embarrasing bit, can they be highly polished like the orginal Caterham one could 😳 😳 😳 visit Carrotland.co.uk
neil.cavanagh
I don't know about the polishing, but Caterham Parts dept did offer me this exhaust, so it is possible to source it from them as well as MacMillian. A pessimist is a man who thinks all women are bad. An Optimist hopes they are!

Mark Gregory
Sorry Neil, I stand corrected. I thought it was just a Grads/McMillan part. 😳
