hi all.

atlas lathe do not know the model no. (has worn off). have parts book.

10 inch swing

2 chucks. single phase. overall lenth 39inch. one pulley not fitted on motor.

cover missing on front.

this will NOT be as accurate as a new cnc machine but serves a purpose.

no proper base, is on rough wood bench at present.

do not know what this is worth so will say £250 but if interested make an offer.

can be seen near to Dunsfold, Surrey Sussex border.

Hi Richard.

It looks like a 'pool special' conversion to the American Atlas lathe. I Inherited a couple of these in a school once - one was mint and unused whilst the other was a few thou out - the bed had lost its accuracy and the bed.cross and top slide were very sloppy. I knew nothing about them but needed to get a Harrison M300 so looked them up to find value etc. to do a trade somewhere. IIRC I got around 500 for the pair AGAINST a new machine back in about 1994.....

If yours still runs true, then you might get £250 at push if it has all the tooling/tool posts and a service (the belt is new - has it been serviced?). £150 - £200 might be more realistic......sorry ☹️

More info on your model (and the Atlas range) here

Have a BTTT on me *smile* *thumbup*
