13" wheels and CR500's

Toyo Proxies are better than CR500's. who told you that then *cool*

I would agree that R888's are comparable to Yoko 48's, but in the wet, CR500's are just about the best tyre you can have, except for full wet's *thumbup*

Have you got adjustable platforms on your shocks?

If not, you may find your sump a little close to the ground for comfort.

I assume you have 185/60/14's on now?

Measure your clearance as it is now. I reckon you could lose 40 mm (or is it 20mm?) in ride height. (assuming you have 175/55/13 fitted on the new wheels.)

Toyo Proxes are not the same as Toyo R888's.

Toyo Proxes are a low profile road tyre where as Toyo R888's are effectively road legal slicks.

Proxes are great in the wet but R888's are not as good and are a dry road/track tyre.
