Rear brake conversion.

One for the highly observant this....

I'm currently using an early de-dion rear end with drum brakes and I want to convert to discs and calipers. Soooo what do I need? I know I need to turn down the outside of the hub carriers so that the discs will clear them (anyone know how much by?), and I need to have the hubs drilled and tapped for the discs to fit. But do they just rest on the proud flat back of the wheel studs? or is there some kind of spacer/special wheel stud? Apart from the discs and calipers and handbrake cable, do i need anything else from caterham? A proportioning valve? Has anyone done this conversion?

thanks,

bill
