CageyH
What dampers did you have fitted when you had the conversion done? Did you go Avo or Nitron? People with Avo's, any problems experienced? I have been reading the archives, and some people seem to have issues with Avo's. As I will be spending £400 to £500 on dampers, is it worth shelling out the extra for the Nitrons? paul jacobs
I bought some AVO's a few years ago, and after a year, they were leaking oil, contacted AVO who said what did I expect, with not using the car over the winter, they were VERY unhelpful, I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole now Paul J. noddy
I got AVO's with mine and have not had any problems ........ yet However I would say that the damper adjustment is real pain in the but, I beleive that the Nitrons are much easier? Gambo
I think DSL got it right. AVO's are Half the price of Nitrons, so you would hope the nitrons are significatly better. Again, you pays your money..... RED 2.0 HPC 230BHP
CageyH
Gambo, agreed, but going AVO's may be a false economy if I need to get another pair! Only dead fish go with the flow....
Gambo
Quite agree Kev, that's why I bought Nitrons. I also will be needing to buy another pair of fronts when I get my inboard kit, So I'll have a pair of six month old Nitron fronts for sale. 😬 RED 2.0 HPC 230BHP Edited by - Gambo on 4 Nov 2006 11:50:
