A1 Anodising at 18a Birches Industrial Eastate, Imberhorne Lane, East Grinstead, W.Sussex are all of 200 yards from my back garden, and they re-anodised by cam pullies so they now look like new for the princely sum of £2 per item. Took them in Monday afternoon, finished Tuesday after lunch. Excellent Service, almost any colour you want (except Dayglo Yellow/Orange!) They are on 01342 323999 You can anodise any aluminium smooth machined component on your car. Unmachined castings as a rule do not work. Just thought you lot might think this useful. Then can do either gloss or satin finish, mines satin black (best for giving off heat). Cost £20. Fairy Nuff. The tank looks good apart from the welds which aren't perfect. Overall I'm happy with it. They had some new uprights from an RML Saleen racer on the shelf, they looked fab even before anodising. Anyone made ali uprights for a 7 yet (I know that Westf1eld do them). However, when I had my bike wheels done it all came off after a few brake applications in the wet. Am I being daft or is powder coating more resilient?
