7 wonders of the world
Might be worth giving David a call @ Hyperion, he sorted me an EU2 version at a very good price, seems they change their looms every 5-6 months. I had to rework it anyway for Emerald use so I wasn't to bothered about the odd bit of work, turns out the loom he sent was 99% perfect with just the battery and alternator wires being non standard for footwell fitting. martinwhitcher
there is one on ebay at the moment Martin MW 51 CAT Superlight No.171 now known as:Superlight DVA
rj
Bear in mind that the Rover loom won't do it. It'll be missing the smaller of the ECU connectors. Of course if it is to be fitted to an Emerald it doesn't matter, but if it is to be used with a Rover ECU you need the Caterham loom.
Delberts Wallet
I have a Rover VVC EU3 loom in the garage if that is any use to you? Gareth Blue and Carbon 6 Speed Supersport with new wheels
mav
RJ, why won't a rover eu3 do it? The eu3 engined MG I have on the drive has 2 connectors on it???
rj
Mav, That's odd. The MGF loom that I had only had the bígger ECU connector on it and another un-identified big-ish connector that I assume was to interface with the main loom. The one on eBay also looks like only having one ECU connector, but I can't say for sure. /r
Delberts Wallet
RJ, the VVC loom I have only has one connector too. Gareth Blue and Carbon 6 Speed Supersport with new wheels
simon_h
The small connector is on the chassis harness on a Rover/MG. Caterham add that and the MFU wiring to the engine harness for the 7.

Tony Whitley
Thanks for the eBay tip - I now have an EU2 one for £5 + P&P Now all I need is the Megasquirt to connect it to...
