K series dry sump oil change

I go for an oil filter fullish , 4 liters in the bell tank and 1 liter in the cam cover . Turn it over to get pressure .

Allow to warm up and then go for a little drive around the block , see if any gets spat into the catch tank , if not then add another .5 liter or untill some does get spat out .

Then note the level imediatly on shut down in the bell tank just so you can check whilst on the road in future - although this is a realy unreliable guide if your not carefull as a lot of the oil drains back out of the bell tank within seconds of shutdown .
