StEVEN Posted October 15, 2006 Share Posted October 15, 2006 Cheers Peter or Louise, spotted again that's 3 times in 6 months.....it's a bit soured though..on the way back i noticed the temperature going up so nursed the car home, looked under the bonnet to see the expansion tank fluid an inch higher than normal, a cold lower hose and the fan not kicking in, so obviously air had got in somewhere. called the RAC and the mechanic did a head gasket test and diagnosed a failed head gasket..B *eek*LL *eek*CKS.. *mad* ☹️....sigh!!!!
