Brooksy Posted October 12, 2006 Share Posted October 12, 2006 About to change my front anti roll bar and having searched through the archives it looks like, given the small amount needed, I might be able to get away with fairy liquid to fit the bushes rather than having to buy rubber lubricant. Sheds Moderator Posted October 12, 2006 Share Posted October 12, 2006 KY is rubber safe as it is water based. That's why it's so good for (ahem) personal use. Vaseline is not rubber safe therefore not recommended for this purpose. Having said that most contraceptives are no longer made of rubber because some people were allergic to the latex, so IIRC they are now made from polyurethane.
