Tonycaterham Posted March 3, 2002 Share Posted March 3, 2002 Having purchased a second hand set of adjustable spring platforms for my bilsteins some months ago through blatchat, I have now got round to fitting them on my live axle caterham. However a few problems encountered. Are there different kits for 1.9 and 2.25 springs or are the platforms reversable, which they appear to be, as I have 1.9? If I fit them with the platforms screwed right down on the front then the platform will still be slightly higher than the platform on the highest of the three settings (via the ciclip) on the bilsteins with the fixed spring seats, is this all correct? luddites7 Posted March 3, 2002 Share Posted March 3, 2002 Tony The Platforms are reversible I got some with 2.25 springs, but found these were very close to the wishbones, I also found I had to move the covers to the highest position as the car was sitting to high at the front.
