Archie Procter Posted September 30, 2006 Share Posted September 30, 2006 When I was looking at the same, Nick Chan suggested powdercoating the existing items. A local powdercoater did it for £40 for the lot. Mind you I needed new glass for the (non-heated) windscreen anyway so I wasn't bothered about having to break the existing glass. Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted October 2, 2006 Leadership Team Share Posted October 2, 2006 I had all mine powder coated including the heated screen surround for around £25 IIRC - check in the local business directory/pages Screen comes apart fairly easily, and drill out the pop rivets for the hood poppers.
