Humbug Posted March 1, 2002 Share Posted March 1, 2002 Hi, One of my friends has a Caterham 7 which he built himself. Its got a K series VVC engine and wont start. Car is kept in a garage but only used in the Summer. The battery is fine - he's tried disconnecting the battery and trying another - and just gets a click from the starter motor. When trying to jump start it the cables get hot. He tells me the engine is free and turns over fine. Anyone got any suggestions? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
