Leadership Team Midas Posted September 28, 2006 Leadership Team Share Posted September 28, 2006 I have a full set of Bilstein shock absorbers (complete with blue springs)from a 1991 1700x flow de deion narrow track caterham. They have doen about 18 000 miles and are in very good condition. Reason for sale is that i have upgraded to a Freestyle handling kit so they are surplus to requirements. looking for £80 plus postage or collect form Bristol
Das
How do you find the freestyle kit ? Did you have freestyle setup the car or have you fitted the shocks your self ?. In what ways does the car feel / perform better ? ( or not ? ) Thanks Darren
Leadership Team Midas Posted September 28, 2006 Author Leadership Team Share Posted September 28, 2006 I fitted the kit myself, which was a doddle. I have yet to decide how best to set the car up, but even so there is a noticeable improvement over the old setup - the main difference is the way the car now rides much better with less crash over crests and less 'bumpsteer'. I plan to experiment more over the winter with the various settings.
