MAK
Rather than hijack othe posts. I am also interested in fitting a Laminova, and have read about some of the issues and searched previous posts. I have 1800 K series wet sump with appolo. Does any one have photos showing where to plumb into for both the oil and water circuits? Or does any one know where I can find a diagramatic representation of the Oil and Water circuits Cheers Malcolm
Support Team Shaun_E Posted September 25, 2006 Support Team Share Posted September 25, 2006 Take a look at Roy Booth's website - look in the modifcations section for a good set of fitting instructions. Yellow SL #
MAK
Thanks I had seen this before and not paid attention to the detail. I did notice that this is plumbed into the Rad top hose. During engine warm up this hose get warm but there will be no significant flow until the thermostat opens. This solution has the potential to improve Oil warm up once ther thermostat is open, but I thought plumbing into the bypass hose was supposed to be more effective. I am not sure how this is implimented though. I am particularly interested in quicker warm up for the oil, and my oil temp is generally lower than the water temp.
