I however have a say in it and, I'm afraid to say, want the luxury quiltyness (is that a word?) that only a Range Rover can provide. Thanks anyway! EFA Posted March 4, 2002 Share Posted March 4, 2002 Steve, I reckon if you wait a little, longer you will be able to get a boggo 4.0 or diesel new (in the sense of 1994) model Range Rover. The early ones are not desirable due to mythical unreliability (in reality they are all unreliable). The new RR is a much better design than the Mk1. A trader local to me sold a 1994 4.6HSE for £9999 recently. Luckily a mate spent a few years as a service engineer for a Land Rover dealer so he can at least tell me if the RR's I find are dogs or the dogs!
