Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted September 20, 2006 Author Leadership Team Share Posted September 20, 2006 Well I assume so with the shockers being longer, but I stand to be corrected if it's not the case In which case has anyone got any standard springs? Pelico
Hello again ! I have a set of Billstiens with springs for the rear. (I sold the front ones to another wanted a few months ago). Came off a 94' chassis with through the tube mount. You are welcome to have a look. Peter
billmaltby
Hi Stu, I have a NEW pair of AVO 12 inch x 125lb rear springs and a used pair of "std" SPAX springs (poundage unknown, factory fitment) Any help? Bill
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted September 20, 2006 Author Leadership Team Share Posted September 20, 2006 I think I'll phone caterham and check what should have been fitted in the first place The annoying thing is that I had a full set of R500 springs gathering dust in the garage and decided to ditch them a couple of years ago! It's amazing how you need things when you've not got them anymore! Stu.
Nick Green
Stu, I have standard (150?) front springs and the progressive rears off a '99 non-SLR( but I don't think there was any difference) pretty much to hand. The dampers the rear springs were fitted to, were the under-DDT variety. Any use ?
