Phil P Posted February 26, 2002 Share Posted February 26, 2002 Not sure if this would be a factor in your decision but I think the exaltos (if they're the ones I'm thinking of)have a rather unattractive sidewall design. Michelin have tried to go all modern & funky with their lettering etc on the sidewalls and the result is IMHO naff & slightly effeminate looking. I saw a set on a merc I was considering buying, and they looked pretty daft. Bricol Posted February 26, 2002 Author Share Posted February 26, 2002 Nope, sidewall lettering not a consideration (unless it was a whitewall or coloured letters or something equally daft) - more concerned about grip. Pilot sports supposed to be good with reservations - Exaltos supposed to clear the reservations - just wonder if they do as they are pretty expensive just to find they are not much cop!
