Peter T
After suffering dampness in my stack unit, it gets condensation in it after an hours worth of driving i decided to strip it from the dashboard and see why?? Several 4mm bolts i find it has a sachet of silica gel inside and no gasket or silicone sealent between the two covers?? Cheap or what?? Silica has alimited life and this is why my stack steams up!!! It has no been put into my sauna circa 60 degrees centigrade to dry out before being sealed with silicone properly!!! Stack wanted £50 + to carry out this repair, how can they warrant this??? *mad* R500 Mango Madness
Support Team Shaun_E Posted September 1, 2006 Support Team Share Posted September 1, 2006 Mine steams up too - never really bothered me that much but I might have a go at fixing it. Yellow SL #
