Rob Morris
Brand new Belkin wireless router and wireless notebook card. Both wireless-g capable, so up to 54 Mbit/s transfer rate! I got these for my Shropshire-based brother who acquired an old notebook computer and wanted to have it work with his broadband connection - he also wanted to protect himself from attacks, and asked that I get him a router. I've used Belkin stuff before, and the reviews on dabs were good - thus these purchases. The total [inc delivery] paid was £65.48 However, when I got up there, it turned out that he needed an ADSL router - not a 'cable' one, and that the notebook (a Toshiba) was already wireless ready! So, we spent silly amounts of money at his local PC World to get him set-up, and these are now 'spare'! As I say, they're brand new [but unwrapped - we tested them at our end before taking them up], and have all the boxes, CDs etc. The router has a 10Base-T/RJ-45 connector so it's meant to be used with a ISP like Telewest/NTL - so, no good if you're on ADSL - which was the case at my brother's.
