O/T E-type Read this 7000 miles

I have a friend that is selling an E -Type with 7000 miles from new,.... yes 7 thousand. I've seen the car and while I'm no expert, I have always been interested in old cars and can say that the condition of this car suggest that it is genuine. It has not been restored. I know that this is not the site to sell this kind of thing, but most of us are enthusiast that talk to other enthusiasts so why not pass the word on. This will not be a cheap car by any means but for the right person it would be quite a find.

This is one posting I wish I had never seen... I always wanted an e-type when I couldn't afford one and never got around to buying one when I could afford to do so!

In what part of the country is it parked...

For what it's worth....

I always wanted an E Type but only drove my first one about 3 years ago, a series 1 3.8 roadster. It wasn't in good nick and the price reflected that.

Having driven it for a few miles, I concluded that it was a trully appalling car and went home thoroughly disapointed!!

I then started hankering after one again and knew that maybe I had just driven a bad example. After months of searching, I found a very low mileage 4.2 series 1 roadster, test drove it and completely fell in love with it!! 😬 😬

Since buying the car, I've done a lot of work on the suspension and brakes to update things.

A well sorted E Type, is a trully magnificent car, the v12 is no exception. It looks like all examples are climbing in value at the moment and this one looks very good value.

Don't hesitate to investigate it further if you want a fabulously viable classic!! *thumbup*

Sorry there really is no guide price. The car will more than likely go to one of the specialise auction houses over the next few months. However I know that if he gets the right kind of offer before then, he will sale. He hasn't had it long. He is not a collector of any kind it came as part of a business deal.

My pal still has his Dads V12 - Slightly more miles at 17,000 but one owner from new - all the extra's - red softtop. Completely original - Chrome wires - M reg also I think - Factory hardtop - Still sitting there after all these years but he'd never part with it. Dont think it's run for at least 15 years. Shame.

You need to view it and then if you are interested you make an offer, of what you feel it's worth to you, simple. I can tell you that it will not be a steal. This is a very nice and unusual car.

I don't intend to be mean, I'm just trying to be honest.

I now have photos and will email copies to anyone that is interested. When I get time I'll put them up on here.
