catastrada
I just bought a Caterham race seat (composite) on Ebay and when I received it I discovered that the 2 (trim) pieces that protect the holes where the top harnesses are coming, are missing. I just sent an email to Tillet (as they manufacture the Caterham race seats) and hope they will reply. Does anybody already tried to buy these 2 pieces and where did you find them ? alan7
Yes, you can get them direct from Tillets, cost £5.00 + Vat + P & P. It generally takes them a day to answer emails so it's best to give them a ring. Mine arrived the next day Telephone: 01795 420312 Fax: 01795 478821 Tillett Racing Seats Unit 3 Castleacres Castle Road Sittingbourne Kent ME10 3RZ England How do you get the dead flies off your teeth....... 😬 R5AAH

7 wonders of the world
I fitted Tllets in my new build and found they do not supply a similar edge strip fro th six point harness hole - well worth putting something on though otherwise the seat will eat yuor harness. I used a length of the SVAfron wing edge rubber - works a treat.

Frying Pan
I spoke to Tillett (Steve Tillett himself) about the six point harness hole, and they never tooled up for a protector for this hole. He recommended slightly sanding the edges round the hole to prevent abrasion, and kindly sent me some SVA style edging Guy See some pictures of the build here. 10000 miles completed! Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted July 19, 2006 Area Representative Share Posted July 19, 2006 Yup the crotch strap on GJT is showing some damage - on the "replace" list. I was thincking about the difference between the shoulder strap holes and the one in the seat - bit odd if you ask me.
