For sale - Bits left over from a crossflow rebuild

Recommended Posts

Right, the beast is back together and MOT'd (Hurrah!), and because I have a few bits left over, I think I would like some space back, so here goes!

1,600 crossflow engine, complete less carbs and alternator. Didn't hear it running, so please assume for spares / rebuild only etc. etc. Turns over fine. £100

4 - speed gearbox - As above - £45

4 - Speed gearbox remote change kit - £45

5 - speed gearbox, believed OK, but I ended up using another one that came with my engine - £65

Crossflow dash - £10

4 - speed propshaft - Believed OK, £25 (May need swan neck reconditioned/replaced)

2 Minator 13' wheels with tyres, fetchingly sprayed gold - £25 each - SOLD TO JOHN HALL

Purple (I know, yellow underneath) nosecone. £45

Don't know if these are good prices or not, but better they go to a club member than the usual ebay 'Grab yourself a bargain' cr*p.

I can mail pictures etc.

Thanks

Hi John, sounds like things are coming together at last.

Are the wheels LA or Dedion? If LA, I'm interested if we can get them to Manchester without too much expense.

Cheers J&J

Hi John

The wheels are LA. Not sure about getting them to Manchester, perhaps we can have a think.

It is nice to be driving, rather than spannering!

On the engine, it is in one piece, so would be good to practice on. I am in Princes Risborough, so pretty close to you.

John

On mature consideration (i.e. I've had a look around) Much as I would like to learn about engines and the Kent in particular, I really do not have room.

Sorry to mess you about but i am going to pass on this one.

BTW: is it a 711 or an AX? Assume from the price that it is a 711.
