ewenm Posted July 10, 2006 Share Posted July 10, 2006 All, I've swapped my 1997 1.6 K Series for a dry sumped 1.8 VVC so am looking to get rid of the old engine. It's done over 90,000 miles in the 7 (including a trip across the US last year). It was running well 4 weeks ago although has suffered some oil starvation in the last year. Also, some parts have been scavenged off it for the 1.8 install so probably best if it's broken for bits. I've responded to some of the wanted threads for EU2 bits so the following parts are reserved until I get responses: Coil - Dave Jackson ECU & 5AS - Kermit If anyone wants bits or most of an engine to play with, get in touch. In view of the mileage on it etc, I've no idea of its value. It's currently on a pallet in a garage in Bath. Cheers, Ewen. Project BUMBLEBEE lives on!
