robmar Posted February 12, 2002 Share Posted February 12, 2002 From a friend on the Slyva list, I am not sure of cost or anything else however you can contact him at ajwallis@hotmail.com (Andy Wallis) "The head is a Mk1 (I believe - which makes it valuable for the Mk1 Lotus Cortina racing brigade) with "big valve" valves, full Cosworth springs, retainers, followers etc and the cams are Cosworth F1. The ports have been cleaned/ported etc (there'e not much to see, except that the ports (inlet especially) are very smooth - there isn't a lot to be done to this head, it's more a matter of knowing what to do. The head has done less than 200 miles since a full rebuild. The water pump has been re-built and the cam cover is a Mkl version with the "Lotus" name down the side rather than across the front.
