Herschel
After a false start under Chit Chat! 1972 Series 3 Land Rover, Short Wheel Base. One owner from new and absolutely mint. New chassis, shocks, respray at the end of the nineties, all receipts and loads of history. Belongs to my Father and I don't know what he wants for it at the moment. If you're interested send an email and I'll get some photos to you.

Nifty
I'm here mate but I've no room for another Landy at present .. and if I did I think I'd go for a LWB *thumbup* ....... ...... But I suppose there's no harm in enquiring ... Is it petrol 🤔 Hardtop, softop, station wagon 🤔 Is the chassis galvanised 🤔 Was it completely restored onto the new chassis 🤔 What condition is the bulkhead in 🤔 Does it come with any of the extras .. Fairy overdrive and FWHs 🤔 What has been it's role in life .. tarting around Sevenoaks High Street or pulling trailer loads of sheep up The Downs 🤔 Keep off the straight and narrow 😬 Edited by - Nifty on 5 Jul 2006 19:41:
Herschel
So..... Petrol Hardtop Chassis is galvanised Not completely restored as it didn't need it, springs/respray and a few other bits I think Bulkead is good Got FWHs but not overdrive. I did go to school in it everyday if that is classed as tarting around, but the Old Man is a Blacksmith so was also used for many years for carting steel / gates etc around and also for towing his boat to and from Rochester. I'll send photos if you want, it's very tidy
