How do you spell "WOOLLY"

Recommended Posts

As in WOOLLY Jumper *confused*

Cos the taffia seem to be able to spell a simple word at least five different ways... *confused*

Maybe some of them are Welsh!

In the Forest of Dean the word for Woolly is "Yuddy" - 'cos a sheep's wool is its Yud! *smile* Not to be confused with "Yut" which means "Eat" from which comes "Yuttin" or "Eating".

Now you Welsh gits - if your going to give me a nickname (which I think suits!!!) SPELL IT CORRECTLY!!! *tongue*

Mango Orange Supersport 1600- It just looks DENTED! *mad*

Wooly is the US version, so on 4th of July I suppose we could let them take precedence.

Any other day and it's "woolly", please everyone.

Here's the BBC being good at what it does:- here

PS - what do you get if you cross a sheep with a kangaroo?
