LazerBrain
I've just been quoted £170 for mine to be repaired, or £45 for just the diagnosis and return postage... Anyone got one kicking around in their garage (with plippers and immobiliser) for a reasonable price? My ecu has the "common Rover MEMS fault" which flattens the battery, but they've diagnosed the problem as a faulty main processor - hence the expense. cheers, Darren. Wahey
fit a kill switch - it can;t flatten the battery if it's not connected to it when you're not using it.

LazerBrain
Gareth - I need to make a decision on whether or not I get this one repaired by the end of the week. I'm actually borrowing someone else's ecu at the moment, but they will want it back at some point! Wahey - true, and I did consider it but I'd prefer to fix the problem. cheers, Darren.
