Franky
I have recently got my first seven (whahey!!) but only have a single chip to enter into the dashboard to neutralise the immobilser. Does anybody know where or if it is possible to get more of these key chips coded?? if not, is it easier to get the immobiliser by passed? CHRIS CLARK
Franky. Congrats on the 'new' Seven. Enjoy it!!! I have been in the same position for the last two years. One key only! Firstly, Vecta no longer import these units so keys are NOT available. I have just removed my Vecta for this and other reasons. Not too bad a job if you are methodical. The thing looks like an ignition coil spewing wire, but it is OK to remove. Not a fast job though as you have to solder back link wires and heatshrink the connections etc (well you do if you want a 'proper' job done). Mick Day
Thanks Julian. I'm going to be tackling the removal at some point in time & will bear in mind your offer, however being in Sussex is a little distance from Cheshire. However if you fancy a run out some time!!?? Julian Thompson
Yes, the old rascal has provided a few issues especially as it has all black cables!!! There is a stuctured way round the system and I'll be happy to discuss this on a 1 to 1 basis. It is perhaps a bit sensitive to post here!!!!! If in doubt call me on 07718 342083 and I'll be happy to help you!! (Or mail me direct) 8JU
