Area Representative Crudders Posted June 9, 2006 Area Representative Share Posted June 9, 2006 I'm sure Compbrake billet ali hubs are excellent but I've been waiting on a pair for ages now and whenever I chase I'm told the next batch is being made up next month/week after next/next week or some other non-specific time in the far-distant future (they are not a regular stock item in 3 3/4" PCD sadly). Long term I want to fit these hubs but I need to get the car on the road pronto! The iron hubs are no longer carried by Caterham and while they are available new from Triumph specialists they are a frightening price (more than a pair of billet ali Compbrake hubs FFS ) and only to order. So has anyone got a good iron 3 3/4" PCD front hub cluttering up the garage that they'd be prepared to part with? Maybe you've changed to a Ford axle and swapped hubs to keep a uniform PCD? Maybe you're a compulsive hoarder like me and keep piles of spares that are "bound to come in handy one day"? If the latter, you'd be welcome to it back, complete with new bearings, when/if the Compbrake hubs materialise!
