Bullman Posted February 4, 2002 Share Posted February 4, 2002 Anyone know the part no/finish no to purchase a 2.0 litre exchange short engine from Fords.They have quoted 480.00 for a 1993 zetec +vat,nearly 600 + vat for 1996 zetec, can anyone share their experiences.Thanks Geoff. Paul D Jones Posted February 5, 2002 Share Posted February 5, 2002 Early one should be Escort type newer Fouce type most people use Escort type near the engine number there is a code for the origional spec use this to cross ref the engine also the 130 bhp engines had oil rail/spray unger the pistons Ring 01472 251515 Ford dealer ask for Dave or stuart Dave first man in charge of stores very good sorted every Ford bits for my car and then ask for discount.
