hubcap
I am looking to change the 3.6:1 CWP in my ATB diffed Ital axle for a 4.1:1 (or possibly 3.9:1). Do you have that 4.1:1 CWP set lying under the bench which never got fitted? Or anybody with a VX classic with the standard 3.9:1 CWP looking for taller gearing who would like to swap. N.B. I dont need the whole diff, just the cwp. Hubcap

hubcap
Hi Noisy Yep we could swap the crown wheel and pinions without too much difficulty. I am looking for lower overall gearing to go racing, whilst the 3.6:1 would effectively raise your gearing by 10%, which helps on the road when cruising etc. Also, I found that running 185/70 021R's again helped the gearing. My car is also a 96 car, with about 10k miles on it, so I dont foresee any problems! - famous last words. You may need to get someone to help you to put the diff back together although it shouldn't be too difficult, I am running a Quaife ATB diff. Let me know if you are interested in a swap.
