WILL FLY
Nick I know someone in Fleet who's son is after a Puma, HOWEVER, he will only buy one that has had a cambelt changed if > 50,000 miles, has yours had a new cambelt and if so do you have the paperwork from the dealer to support this. Roy See willfly.net for more info. Area Representative bluenose Posted May 30, 2006 Area Representative Share Posted May 30, 2006 Think this ad is rather sexist I will have to ask your wife if she has a picture of you driving it to post on here to prove it is a ladies car 😬 Good luck with the sale Nick. Nick T
Roy, It has been serviced in accordance with Fords recommendations with a main dealer service up to 50K and my local mechanic (who probably does a better job!!) using ford parts up to now. However if this was an issue then I am sure that we could come to an agreement about the cam belt I.e. if we are very close to the asking price then I would get one fitted. Hope this helps Nick 😬
Nick T
Roy, Having checked with my mechanic I am informed that the cam belt should be changed at 80K or 50K and 5 years old. Any way suffice to say it will require a new one soon so I will get thet sorted. Nick
