Specifically, I need: - Engine carburettor model (RRW preferred) - Airbox complete with rubbers, clips, and carb breather box (bolted to airbox) - Carburettors - Coils and leads - Throttle cable (pull) - Clutch cable - Coolant hose -s mall - head to rad - Fuel hose - tap to carb - Breather hoses - Cam cover to airbox - Exhaust flange nuts (8) - Loom - Regulator - ECU with rubber mounting sleeve - Battery GTS9-BS - Battery feed cable with solanoid unit complete with rubber mounting sleeve - Earth cable - Upper and lower rear engine mounting bolts and nuts (isolator bushes and spacer for top mount required) John John Latham Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Apparently he "knows a man" who scouts round the breakers for engines, and will "take them back" if they turn out to be duff. I'm thinking of getting some light tuning done (re-jetting, port polish etc) before I fit the engine. The idea of having the tuner source the engine for me appeals, since then I have a single point of accountability (for what it's worth). Anyone used Powertec for tuning, esp. fireblade engines? Morls Posted February 6, 2002 Share Posted February 6, 2002 As a guide to price, I paid £1100 recently for the above bits and a 99 motor. As a tuner reccommendation, Nikki Kennedy in North Yorkshire (o1723 354395), specialises in motorcycle engines well built enough to finish TT races.
