Tom_C
Anyone upgraded to a removable wheel and therefore got a spare contactor ring in the garage? Mine fell apart on the Poitiers ringroad, leading to random blasts every time it touched the steering column. Would have fitted in well in Italy of course.... Tom_C
Surely someone has one lying around before I put a button on the dash instead? BTTT Cheers Tom FH54WLX - only the car supports ManU, honest! see here - UPDATED
Frying Pan
Tom I may have one. I've got a Motalita wheel, but had a horn button fitted to my kit. I know I stuck the horn button in the wheel centre down, but can't remember if I fitted the contactor ring. Send me a blatmail and I'll check in the garage roof where all the bits are at the weekend Guy See some pictures of the build here. 9000 miles completed! JonathanP
Tom, I've got one here - but I cut the wire off it when I fitted the switch. You're welcome to it if you want to have a go at fitting a new wire (either prise it apart or drill a hole in the back to solder on a new wire)? Tom_C
Guy, YHM. Jonathan, If Guy can't find one I'll give you a call if that's OK? Cheers Tom FH54WLX - only the car supports ManU, honest! see here - UPDATED
JonathanP
Tom If Guy has one with a wire on that would be easier!
Frying Pan
Hmmmm.... I got the box of bits out of the garage roof last night, and I couldn't find the box that the steering wheel boss was supplied in (this si where I left the spare bits). I'll have a better look tonight and let you know Guy See some pictures of the build here. 9000 miles completed!
