Gridgway
I need to determine the reason for the coolant loss in a k series in a rover 25. There is no obvious leak. So I was thinking of doing a leak down test and a test for hydrocarbons. Anyone know where I can get a cooling system pressurising gadget and the exhaust in coolant test kit thing? There are no real external signs of problems, no emulsion, no water in the oil, rock steady temperature. The only signs were an empty header tank (1.5l to restore) and the engine is slightly jerky on/off closed throttle. Pulls well, revs well, sounds ok. Thanks Graham PS supply of the proper terminology for the test thingys would be good too!!!
