simon redshaw
I am aware of a cracking 1800 Zetec engine that is looking for a home. I am told that the engine is not young and has completed 90k+, but it is in such good condition, it should be considered. The original build: Dave first stripped the cylinder block, checking all parts prior to machining up various parts. Lightened&balanced flywheel to suite bottom end Cylinder head gas flowed and port matched to its manifolds Valve springs seats re-machined, taking uprated valve springs Matched pair of Kent DH64 camshafts installed Engine was balanced and built The engine was in a "project van" built by Dave and serviced by him. the engine was fully serviced every 5k nd is being uprated to 2.0l to fit 4x4 to the van! i saw this and thought that it looked in such good condition for the mileage that one of you (or more) should give Dave a call - 01270 661850 or dave@davebrooks-engines.co.uk. Note the performance is 160bhp and this is on a std Zetec air box. transfer onto Weber or injection and you could be upto 190BHP. There is no price indication as it is worth someone seing it and making an offer to Dave. Rgds Simon7R
