The type only held on by a grub screw, as described by Adrian and one with a thread to screw onto the end of the lever, c/w locking grub screw. wag Posted May 18, 2006 Share Posted May 18, 2006 Did it myself. Wrapped the thing in gaffer tape to protect it in the vice. Still scratched it, though. Drilling was awkward because the drill tends to stick. Im sure a local engineering workshop would do it. Unclefester Posted May 18, 2006 Share Posted May 18, 2006 The Sparco ones have a plastic insert to fit any type of lever, and once this is on, three grubscrews hold it all tightly in place.
