Area Representative Paul Richards Posted January 7, 2022 Area Representative Share Posted January 7, 2022 If you are finding it a stretch to reach the temperature control knob for the heater with your harness on I can recommend extending it using one of THESE. Definitely a worthwhile cheap upgrade.I've recently ordered a couple and there was a problem with delivery. However they responded so well to resolve things, which I think is the sign of a company with good customer service and they deserve support. SM25T
Did that years ago with a single longer one. Makes it easy with a harness on.
Area Representative Paul Richards Posted January 7, 2022 Author Area Representative Share Posted January 7, 2022 Yes Ian. I remember years ago that someone put a similar link on Blatchat. I never fitted one then but as I get older it becomes more difficult to reach the control. They come in twos. I've used one at the moment but I can add another if I need to at a later date. GulfSeven
I might do this too - it's quite a stretch and feels like you're going to sprain something with the factory setup!
John Vine
Neat solution. For the time being, I take the pragmatic, simpler approach of simply easing off the tension on the RH strap adjuster as I need only an extra inch or so of reach.JV
