JAL
Hi Guys,I am trying to organise my garage for the delivery of my 7 next May. I have several 'things' that will need to remain in the garage and I'm hoping I can squeeze past them. Can someone please confirm the dimensions of the Supersport R SV? Leadership Team Garry7 Posted October 31, 2014 Leadership Team Share Posted October 31, 2014 What are you suggesting Martin? Positive advantage if you are mostly 2 up. Excellent for towing too Just needs a bigger engine!!

sjmmarsh
80mm longer and 110mm wider doesn't sound much, but is a bigger difference than you think:http://www.sjmmarsh.f2s.com/sizecomparison.bmp
Damo V
This should be accurate, used it when researching mineoffering an extra 80mm in length and 110mm in widthhttp://www.super7cars.com/Super7_RoadsportSV_Caterham.htmlhttp://www.super7cars.com/Super7_RoadsportSV_Caterham.htmlPossthe dimensions are: -Length - 3380mm -Width - 1575mm -Length SV - 3530mm -Width SV - 1685mmhttp://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=929801http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=929801
Martin J
Truth be known Garry I would in many ways be better off with an SV. Back when I built my S3, I was having to keep the build to a reasonable budget & the extra £1500 for the SV was just to much. What is the difference now? I assume North of £2000.In the unlikely event of me changing my 7 for another I would almost certainly go for an SV next time. The time the narrow car really works though is when making good progress on the twisties, Kent blat or otherwise, I love that feeling of being snug in the car & feeling at one with it.
