Wrightpayne
I've been doing some work on my leaky 6 speed box and have a potentially leaky sierra diff to sort out too. As a result I've been doing a bit of research on oil seals. So I have found that on metric seals there are usually three numbers signifying the inner bore, outer diameter and height. There is also a code to identify whether it is single lip (keeps the fluid inside) or double lip (keeps fluid inside and stops dirt getting inside too). Buying seals by size can be a lot cheaper than a specific manufacturers part. The following reference information might be useful:-Speedometer drive output shaft oil seal = 7 X 16 X 7 (bore, diameter, height) double lip (TC or R23). I understand this is a carry over from the type 9.Differential driveshaft oil seal (2 of) = 43 X 62 X 12 R23I've not seen the diff pinion oil seal close up, so unlike the others, cannot read the reference numbers from the seal. Ford ref number is 6099522.Single lip seal ID is SC or R21Hope this is useful. Just be mindful these numbers / sizes are taken directly from the seals fitted to my car. Best to check yours before ordering.Ian
