Does anyone know the size that these fastners are? Im specifically looking for the size of the ones that are under the nose cone and are rivited to the chassis on my 1996/7 Chassis. Much appreciated, Jon

I asked the same question some time ago without any positive answer. Contacted Dzus sales who were also unable to help without part number used by CC to order. ☹️

If the part number could be identified, Dzus said they could supply the original direct or an alternative. I was interested in converting to a flip-up turnkey approach.

I agree, I dont have them fitted on mine and the nose is just as secure as my previous Seven which had them *thumbup* 😬 Perhaps I should just add that you have to hook the nosecone under the plates that the fasteners were fitted to 😬

Lol - well ive dumped 1/4 of em as one is probably in some poor sods tyre now... I have to say the nose seems well held in the downward deflection but seems loose if I try and pull it up - im assuming that when driven 'fast' the air would try and raise the nose... which im thinking wont be a good look when it parts company with the car, rips the edge off the bonnet and come in thru the screen... 😳 *biggrin* My chassis has the nose lower fittings that sit on the chassis rather than under it so I dont think I could pull it down to fit under the chassis...

I will drill one out and take it into the local Dzus fastener place and see what they can offer me to replace it. if I can get a Dzus part no I will add it to this thread. *smile*

Ok, I said Id post back the part no from Dzus... the ones I got seems fine tho may be a little long - ymmv. mine were part no EHF5-65. I was told the 65 is the length but he doubted it was in mm... perhaps Dzus is an american firm or has its own measure? anyho, hope it helps someone. *smile*
