Dave connors
just noticed that there isn't a pipe on the MAP sensor on my sigma supersport, should there be one and if so where does the other end connect to
ChrisC
Depends on the model of Sigma, 150, 140 and 310 definitely are not connected to anything. I think my 125 was connected to the plenum. I have never worked on a 270 so for that I can't be sure.I like to add a small piece of hose, open one end, and angling it down like a U bend, so a direct water attach wont end up in the MAP sensor, however remote that may sound. oilyhands
Is that a MAP sensor or a Baro sensor...Oily
Dave connors
I think its the map sensor, I think mine uses the tps instead of this thats why its not connected it was running rich so I've pot a new lambda sensor on and thought this may also have something to do with it but I don't think it does after looking into it
aerobod - near CYYC
It looks more like a baro sensor than a map sensor, with the open port being the ambient pressure reference, best to just add a tube to keep the water out and point the end of it down, as ChrisC mentioned.
