ianrm
Has anyone got the contact details for Luke Harnesses - I've tried to modify my passenger buckle to move the captive clip to the other side (to stop it smacking on the bodywork everytime someone gets out of the passenger seat!) and have successfully undone three of the five screws but have managed to totally round off the other two - D'OH ❗ I think the only answer is to send it back to Luke to get it sorted properly but I can't find their details - anyone help? I intend to live forever - so far so good!

ianrm
Manxseven was right - the address I found was the old one the new details are: Wainright Close Churchfields Industrial Estate St Leonards-on-sea E Sussex TN38 9PP Tel: 01424 850099 Fax: 01424 854488 email: sales@lukeracing.co.uk I had a chat with a very helpful man and explained what I had done, he was understanding and told me to send it to him for repair or replacement (he said he would give me a good price!) but he was less than impressed when I told him a number of members had done the modification, saying that this sort of thing was best left to experts etc. Well I certainly proved it's not for idiots like me! Area Representative Richard Price Posted January 21, 2004 Area Representative Share Posted January 21, 2004 I've recently swapped the buckle as you wish to do, and only remembered after I'd dismantled the assembly, that you don't need to remove the back plate! You need to peel the sticker off the center of the release lever and undo the one screw, then remove the two screws that retain the inner plate under the lever. Once this inner plate is removed, the internal pegs can be swapped. The peg for the fixed belt is a parallel peg. The ones for the removable belts have a chamfered end and a washer that is used to unlatch the belts. I refixed the sticker over the center of the lever with double sided tape. ianrm
Not yet, but he did say that he would do it for a good price (not sure if that was for him or me!) I'll let you know when I get the bill.
