When this has happened before, a quick on/off of the hazard switch has got them working again, but not this time. Tried the hazard switch several times, then decided to pull off the road to investigate. Decided to take the fuse out for the indicators, but this was fine. When I put it back in though, the indicators were working again It was in tight, so I can only assume that the contacts had oxidised slightly. Might be worth checking if you get the same symptoms.
