Is this meet still going ahead? I am hoping to come down tomorrow.

I cannot attend... A combo English-Dutch home and "Double Dutch" is off tomorrow for a small repair anyway. Enjoy and may the best team on the day win!

I am aware that there is a minor distraction on Wednesday in the form of a football match that kicks off at 8pm. I am minded to run the meeting regardless, but will poll members to see how many regulars (plus any newbies) plan to attend. Good evening for a blat home afterwards? The roads should be pretty quiet during the match. Most of the matches have been goalless in the first half and you could still get back home for extra time and the seemingly inevitable penalty shootout! 🙂

Many thanks to Alan Carswell and Colin Swinson for deputising for me at the February meeting. At our March meeting last Wednesday (13th) it transpired that we might be a bit thin on the ground on April 10th due to holidays etc so there will be NO area meeting in April. Many of us will be getting together with Sevening friends from further afield at lunchtime on Monday 15th April at the Deddington Arms. This is being organised by Wendy Carswell. The May meeting will be at The Falcon as usual on the 2nd Wednesday evening (May 8th). Kind regards Philip
