Hello Northants, Bed & Bucks 7’s, Photo from last month's Cotswold Blat, parked up at The Classic Car Hub at Bibury. July 9th Oakley Sports and Social Club Classic Cars 18:00 -20:30. Free entry for display and visitors. Always and interesting turn out of cars of all types. Food and bar available. July 14th Practice grass Autotest Sunday 10:00. Untimed practice event. Limit of 12 cars, contact me to reserve a space. This was a great event last year and a lot of fun. No cars suffered any damage. This event is weather dependant and may get re-scheduled if it looks like rain. Venue is Parkfield Farm, Bay Lane, Ravenstone MK46 5AT. The driveway is a mile long. Please bring you own picnic lunch and suncream. July 17th We seem to be settling in well at the Cowpers Oak. Although the outdoor dining involves some work on our part, I think everyone enjoyed it last month. Next club night is July17th at the Cowpers Oak, Weston Underwood. MK46 5JS July 21st Classic Nostalgia, Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb. Co-organised with the Worcester area, we have a display parking area on both days but will be running a blat from Baldock services on the A1 at 06:00 with a pickup at Buckingham Costa Coffee 06:45 to arrive at Shelsley by 09:30. You need to buy a ticket for this event in advance to access the display parking area. This is a full club permitted event. All welcome July 24th For our August 21st meeting we are going to try to go to Bicester Heritage for the Coffee and Chrome evening event. Details here. Tickets go on sale on July 24th and sell out fast. Footman James link & Scramblers Link August 3rd Northeast to the Beach. Our summer run to the coast. Somewhere new this year heading further north into Norfolk 120 miles starting from Amici Coffee, on the A1 at Sandy at 08:30. Lunch at the Dun Cow at Salthouse or Seafood from Cookies. Cookies Crab shop is cash only. After lunch we can drive down the coast road to Weybourne and visit the Muckleburgh Collection. Entry £12 Details here. Great route Derek, it was "interesting" trying to keep up with you guys with me being on my motorbike. Really underlined the cornering speed of a 7. Text from Goldie later that evening suggests he will be selling his Lotus very soon and joining us in a Caterham !

Hello again, We kick off this month with our Cotswold Blat on Sunday 9th June from the Old Shed in Charlbury. The Old Shed opens for breakfast at 07:30, so aiming to leave between 08:00 to 08:30. Event link We have 5 cars signed up on the MRA Event. Good weather is promised. Let me know if you'd like to join us Tuesday 11th June is the Classic Car event and the Sports and Social Club at Oakley. May's event saw 214 exhibit cars show up. Bar and food available from 18:00 Wednesday 19th we will be at The Cowpers Oak from 19:00 for our regular Club Night. The last one before the days start getting shorter!

Hello Northants, Beds & Bucks, Here is a little reminder of the events still to take place in May. Tomorrow Tuesday 14th May, Oakley Classic Cars at the Sports & Social Club Oakley. Normally a good turn out of interesting cars. Food and Bar available. Wednesday 15th is our Club night, this month back at the Cowpers Oak, Weston Underwood from 19:00. We might try to use the covered outdoor area if the weather is warm enough. Let me know if you are coming so I can give the pub an heads up please. Saturday 18th is the Fish & Chip run. There are several of us traveling to the Chepstow area on Friday, leaving from Costa Coffee Needle Pin way on Friday afternoon. Sunday 26th May We will run the first of the Tap & Kitchen Blats Starting at 10:30 at the Giddy Goat Café in Risely, travelling to the Tap & Kitchen in Oundle for lunch at around 12:30. Hello Northants, Beds & Bucks 7 owners, Our club night this month Wednesday 15th May will be back at The Cowpers Oak in Weston Underwood near to Olney. Meeting at 19:30 We have been allocated the whole of the restaurant area or the use of the outdoor covered seating area if the weather is suitable. Caffeine & Machine are running a Caterham Yard meeting on the 13th May at The Hut GU32 1JX Link to more information This is not at the Ampthill venue. The club Fish & Chip run is on the 18th May. There are quite a few of us booked in for this event and making a weekend of it. I will be running the Tap & Kitchen blat on Sunday the 26th May, Start venue to be finalised but ending up at the Tap & Kitchen in Oundle for lunch. Food was excellent last year. Sunday lunch is £28 for two courses and £32 for 3 courses. Venue details Look forward to seeing you. Derek

Hello Northants, Beds & Bucks. This month’s club night will be at; Ye Olde Swan Newport Road Woughton-On-The-Green Milton Keynes Buckinghamshire United Kingdom MK6 3BS Usual gathering time of 19:30. Wednesday 17th I have booked a table for 12. Please let me know if you plan to attend so I can keep the pub informed if we are likely to be many more than 12 A few of us are off to the Isle of Wight on the 19th April for Wight Blat. There will be some changes too how you receive information from me with the new club website. You have all now been joined into the area group and most of you are now following the group. This was a club admin change made yesterday.
