If it's August (which it will be soon) it's time for the annual Gogs BBQ and once again, by the kindness of member David Richards, we are invited to return to savour his hospitality and take sumptuous repast at the mother of all firepits that is installed at his home, "Rossignol", Mold Road, Ruthin, Denbighshire, LL15 1SL.

The BBQ will be on Sunday August 7 .  This replaces the usual meet on the first Tuesday, which will not take place.

Aim to be at Rossignol for 3.30pm, eating from 4pm (allowing for a potential pre-BBQ blat which Colin may wish to arrange). All food and soft drinks to be provided by David. Cost: £10 per head.

Food will be a range of locally sourced meats from an excellent butcher in town, with fresh breads and salads.  Coffee and biscuits to follow. Any alcohol to be brought by individuals if they so wish.

Please let me have final numbers by the Friday before (August 5) so that ingredients can be ordered in good time.
